Job summary

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Day Shift to join our caring nursing team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional care and building meaningful relationships with residents, we'd love to meet you.

The CNA provides hands-on care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote dignity, independence, safety, and comfort.

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA certification in good standing.
• Completed State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Healthcare experience in skilled nursing or related settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered care in line with care plans.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral care.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, repositioning, mobility equipment.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nurse.
• Answer call lights promptly and provide compassionate assistance.
• Assist with meals and hydration as needed.
• Maintain clean resident rooms and change linens as needed.
• Observe and report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Document care accurately and completely.
• Follow infection prevention policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team.
• Promote dignity, respect, and quality of life.
