Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. in Leesburg, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to support recovery. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of a CNA program, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting; behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor and document vital signs, behaviors, and symptoms; report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and support the care team.
• Transport patients within the facility as needed.
• Contribute to care planning and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Assist with patient records and documentation.
