Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. The role includes taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, and changing linens as assigned.

Experience as a nursing assistant in inpatient or long-term care, EMT, or Surgical Technologist is preferred. Missouri CNA license or appendix is required, with license obtained within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in inpatient or long-term care settings, EMT, or Surgical Technologist.
• MOS CNA license or MO CNA Appendix; license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties.
• Obtain information on patient condition and report changes to nursing staff.
