Job summary

Parexel Baltimore is seeking an Entry level Research Associate (per diem) to support Phase I trials onsite in Baltimore, MD. You will learn study protocols, recruit participants, and maintain study records while collaborating with clinical staff.

Training spans 4–6 weeks with 40 hours per week, followed by flexible, part-time hours ranging 0–40 per week. The role offers base pay in the stated range and eligibility for performance-based plans and standard Parexel benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Background working in a medical or clinical setting.
• Comfortable with prolonged standing and walking.
• B.S.+ in related life science field OR HS diploma/GED with relevant experience.
• CPT/Phlebotomy is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand study protocols and complete required medical procedures.
• Recruit study participants by various outlets and events.
• Enter participants in tracking systems and manage study logs.
• Conduct screening visits and assist with assessments of medications and tests.
• Prepare and monitor study supplies and stock levels in clinic.
• Ensure basic participant safety is provided.
• Assist with Monitor visits and maintain knowledge of guidelines.
• Comply with QM guidelines and document corrections timely.
