Job summary

The position requires physical ability for medium to heavy labor, a valid NYS driver’s license, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
• Must have, keep and maintain the appropriate valid NYS Driver’s License; have a motor vehicle record with no major violations.
• Must be able to understand and follow simple verbal and written instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors, windows, vacuum, trash and recycling removal, dusting and wall cleaning across offices, kitchens, labs and restrooms.
• Perform vivarium cage wash duties and sanitize animal rooms as needed.
• Check supplies and equipment functioning; report issues to supervisor.
