Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a full-time Driver to transport building materials to dealers, distribution centers and construction sites from our Rome, NY facility. The role requires a valid CDL Class B license, clean driving record, and the ability to load/unload using Manitou or Moffett equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience
• Clean driving record; ability to tarp/strap loads
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
• Operate trailer-mounted forklift when needed
• Multi-drop delivery experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Plan and manage time efficiently; maintain safety throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to dealers, distribution centers, and job sites
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report needed repairs
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• Load/unload using Manitou or Moffett equipment
• Verify loads before leaving facility or site
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
• Occasional weekend work
• Other duties as assigned
