Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Circulating Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. The role supports surgeons during procedures, maintains a sterile field, administers medications, and documents surgeries. Requires an Arkansas RN license (BSN preferred) with CPR and possible ACLS/PALS/NALS training.

Shift is day, Monday–Friday, with call and holidays required; position offers full-time hours and a collaborative perioperative environment in Little Rock, AR.

Qualifications

• RN with an unencumbered license to practice in Arkansas (BSN preferred).
• CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS/NALS training may be required.
• Willingness to work day shift, call and holidays, and 80 hours bi-weekly.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
• Work outside the operating room’s sterile field to ensure a clean and sterile environment.
• Administer medications and manage surgical counts.
• Prepare for operations/procedures and document surgery/procedure.
• Monitor perioperative staff, instruments, and equipment; handle surgical specimens.
