Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
• Two years of inpatient/acute care nursing experience (preferred).
• One year of Charge Nurse experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and administers care to a unit-specific patient population with a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
• Provides clinical supervision to staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Works with medical staff to meet hospital and departmental goals.
• Manages activities per hospital policies and physician orders.
• Oversees the plan of care tailored to each patient’s needs.
