Job summary

Oakdale Seniors Alliance in Laurens, SC is seeking a dependable Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) for the 7am-7pm day shift. You will lead the shift's clinical operations, supervise CNAs/STNAs, administer medications, and serve as the primary clinical contact for residents, families, and physicians.

The role requires active RN or LPN licensure and BLS/CPR certification, with prior Charge Nurse or floor nurse experience in SNF/long-term care. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered state RN or LPN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience as a Charge Nurse or floor nurse in a SNF/assisted living/long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and emergency response capabilities.
• Dependable, approachable leadership with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Direct and oversee shift nursing care, ensuring resident care plans and physician orders are followed.
• Medication & Treatments: Administer medications, perform wound care, monitor vitals.
• Team Supervision: Guide CNAs/STNAs during the shift and ensure completion of duties.
• Documentation & Assessment: Document clinical changes and shift reports in the EHR system.
• Physician & Family Communication: Relay condition changes to physicians, families, and oncoming leadership.
