Job summary

Martha Franks Retirement Community in Laurens, SC is seeking a dependable Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) for full-time night shift (7pm-7am). You will lead clinical operations, supervise CNAs/STNAs, administer medications, and be the primary clinical contact for residents and families.

Responsibilities include directing nursing care, wound care, documentation in the EHR, and clear communication with physicians. LICENSURE and BLS/CPR are required; SNF/AL/LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience as Charge Nurse or floor nurse in SNF/AL/Long-Term Care preferred.
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and emergency response capabilities.
• Dependable, approachable leadership with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee shift nursing care, ensuring resident care plans and physician orders are followed.
• Administer medications and perform wound care and treatments; monitor vital signs.
• Supervise CNAs/STNAs and mentor staff during the shift.
• Document changes, assessments, incidents, and shift reports in the EHR.
• Communicate condition changes to physicians, families, and incoming shift leadership.
