The Charge Nurse participates in staffing, patient flow, rounds, and governance activities within the WellStar Nursing Practice Model and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a current RN license in Georgia.
• Experience in acute care leadership or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily unit operations on your shift.
• Oversee patient care delivery and assignment for licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Participate in staffing, rounds, and governance activities to support safe care.
• Support staff development, mentor teammates and promote evidence-based practice.
