Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Level I for inpatient care. The role provides professional nursing care using the nursing process and requires independent clinical judgment under supervision within the life span growth and development frameworks.

The incumbent must hold an active RN license, obtain BLS within 30 days, and bring at least 1 year of RN experience. BSN preferred; shift-based duties with day rotation and 36 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license required (state in which services will be provided or multi-state license via eNLC).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• One (1) year of registered nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s individual needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice to provide patient care.
• Delivers care within the scope of a Registered Nurse - Level I and demonstrates independent nursing judgment.
