Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role requires current AZ RN license or compact licensure and hospital-based cath lab/IR nursing experience.

You will participate in comprehensive patient care from admission through discharge, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, medication administration, IV management, and patient education for post-treatment at home.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or compact state licensure on hire; license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BSN within 60 months of hire or 5+ years RN experience at the time of hire.
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing accepted; BSN required within 60 months per policy.
• 1 year RN experience for float positions; >10 months med-surg or acute care required.
• National certification for unit specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data to plan care with family involvement.
• Implement plan of care and administer medications and IV therapies.
• Educate patients and families about post-treatment care, diet, and exercise.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and supervise staff as needed.
• Document patient care and monitor progress and outcomes.
• Ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with standards.
