Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• C-2 Boiler License or ability to obtain within 6 months; license cost paid by employer.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and technical documents.
• Experience in building maintenance, mechanical systems or a skilled trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Inspect and repair beds, wheelchairs, HVAC and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Assist with painting, carpentry and structural repairs.
• Maintain grounds: mowing, trimming, snow removal; monitor boilers and ventilation.
• Complete safety checks for state surveys and fire safety systems.
• Take logs and reports; transport supplies; interact with residents and staff.
