Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator I for its Mason, Ohio facility on the DAY SHIFT, operating 6:48am–7:00pm on a rotating 2/2/3 schedule. You will manage blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment to produce high-quality containers, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, quality checks, and timely communication with supervisors and maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and assist equipment to make containers.
• Perform quality checks and monitor processing conditions per standards.
• Assist in mold, insert, and color changes on the line as needed.
• Provide basic maintenance support and troubleshoot problems.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and documentation as required.
• Support line with cross-functional staff and communicate shifts.
• Train new Operators and cover in slow periods as needed.
• Limited travel may be required.
