Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a bakery team member to prepare products, follow daily prep lists, and execute specifications from leadership. The role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work across a rotating schedule including nights and weekends.

Expect to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable temperatures. Wage range is $19.25-$31.08 per hour, with Whole Benefits covering a broad set of perks.

Qualifications

• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery products according to recipes and scale as needed.
• Follow daily prep lists and job assignments.
• Follow team leader and supervisor instructions and requests.
• Keep coolers and shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Adhere to food safety, cleaning, and equipment maintenance protocols.
• Read and follow daily distribution sheets and update as required.
• Monitor waste, spoilage, and product transfers.
• Ensure accurate product mix for varied dietary needs.
• Maintain documentation including pre-op, HACCP, and FSMA.
• Operate equipment safely and use PPE as required.
• Attend required trainings and meetings; arrive on time.
• Work with knives, carts, and other equipment safely.
• Maintenance of safety and reporting issues to leadership.
• Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
