Ergon, Inc. in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a daylight/1st shift Facility Operator to join a tight-knit team producing asphalt oil and serving customers.

The role involves loading/unloading trucks and railcars, conducting basic plant maintenance, and participating in daily production and safety meetings. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, the ability to work with little supervision, read instructions, perform basic math, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to learn computer skills.
• Able to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload trucks and railcars.
• Conduct minor maintenance on plant equipment (pumps, racks, mixers).
• Attend daily production/quality/EHS meetings.
• Utilize safety checklist and other proactive tools.
• Ensure good facility housekeeping and training compliance.
• Communicate effectively with operators, management, trucking company and customers.
