Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II for the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital on days. You will support anesthesiologists and CRNAs during induction, maintain equipment, and ensure sterile, ready-to-use supplies for anesthesia care.

Preferred ASATT certification; required high school diploma or GED and BCLS; minimum of one year as an anesthesia tech. Full-time, day shift, Monday–Friday 6:30am-2:30pm, on-site.

Qualifications

• ASATT certification preferred for the role.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• BCLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provide approved assistance to anesthesiologists/CRNAs during induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
• Assist with placement of regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.
• Set up sterile equipment and maintain supplies for anesthesia care.
• Ensure sterility and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Perform procedural checks and report malfunctions to supervisor.
