Job summary

McKnight Place Assisted Living and Memory Care is seeking a compassionate Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant to provide person-centered care from 7pm to 7am. You will support daily living activities, assist with transfers, and work closely with our care team to ensure resident safety and comfort.

Qualified candidates hold a Missouri CNA certificate, a high school diploma, and prefer memory care experience. Strong communication, reliable transportation, and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri CNA certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year CNA experience in Memory Care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with staff, residents and families.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, compassionate care including bathing, dressing, grooming and oral hygiene.
• Build trusting relationships through person-centered care.
• Assist residents with walking, transportation, and transfers using gait belts when necessary.
• Promote resident independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities Overview:

As an Assisted Living and Memory Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll provide compassionate, person-centered care that supports each resident’s individual needs. As a valued member of our care team, you may provide support in Assisted Living or Memory Care based on the needs of our residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Build trusting relationships through compassionate, person-centered care.
• Assist residents with walking, transportation, and transfers using gait belts when necessary.
• Promote resident independence and dignity.
• Work collaboratively with Charge Nurses and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.

Job Types:

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am)

Competitive Pay:

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Flexible Hours:

• Part-Time: 12 – 32 hours per week
• Full-Time: 32 – 40 hours per week

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification is required.
• AHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least1 year of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in a Memory Care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsto build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Englisheffectively.
• Reliable transportation is required.
