Job summary

McKnight Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in Missouri is hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm). You will administer medications, document accurately, and provide compassionate care to residents in a memory care and assisted living setting.

The role requires MO CMT certification, at least 1 year of CMT experience, and a high school diploma or GED. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success in this team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification is required.
• L1MA certification is not accepted for this role.
• At least 1 year of CMT experience in an Assisted Living setting is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with staff, residents and families.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate medication documentation and records.
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Build trusting relationships through compassionate, person-centered care.
• Assist residents with walking, transportation, and transfers using gait belts when necessary.
• Promote resident independence and dignity.
• Work collaboratively with Charge Nurses and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities Overview:

What We Offer:

• Full-time and Part-time positions available.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)

Competitive Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour.

Flexible Hours:

• Part-Time: 12 – 32 hours per week
• Full-Time: 32 – 40 hours per week

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Certification is required.
• Certification Requirement: This position requires a current Certified Medication Technician (CMT). L1MA certification is not accepted for this role.
• At least1 year of Certified Medication Technician (CMT) experience in an Assisted Living setting is preferred.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsto build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Englisheffectively.
• Reliable transportation is required.
