Job summary

Chrysalis seeks a caregiver in Draper, UT to provide support for at-risk adults/juveniles with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This role requires working in stress-filled, safety-sensitive environments, following pre-approved programs, and communicating decisions effectively to others.

You will implement care plans, supervise individuals, assist with medications, and maintain documentation, while adhering to state standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Background check and LEIE per state regulations.
• Pass required controlled substance tests.
• Must speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain punctual attendance at the worksite.
• Stay awake, responsive, and communicate effectively to the individuals.
• Teach individuals daily living skills.
• Plan appropriate activities for the individuals.
• Create opportunities to increase quality of life.
• Provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Implement and follow Behavior Plans and supervision guidelines.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Complete required administrative tasks and documentation.
