The Arc of Ouachita dba ARCO in Louisiana seeks a Day Services Director to lead programs that help people with developmental disabilities connect, contribute, work, grow, and thrive in their communities. You will oversee Supported/Customized Employment, Community Ventures, and transportation, building partnerships with local employers and families to create meaningful opportunities and sustained outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Social Services, or related field.
• One year of experience in the field preferred.
• Valid Louisiana driver's license.
• Dependable transportation available for use on the job.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
• Ability to develop relationships with businesses, community organizations, and partners.
• Understanding of budgets, expenses, and revenues.
• Ability to evaluate programs and develop services that respond to needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively and occasionally outside regular hours.

• Lead and develop person-centered, community-based Day Services programs.
• Promote meaningful employment, community integration, independence, and personal growth.
• Build relationships with employers, businesses, community organizations, families, and other partners.
• Assess participant needs and develop programs aligned with goals.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Day Services staff and provide direction to program/team managers.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements that strengthen outcomes.
• Ensure services meet governmental requirements, agency standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with program funding and resource development.
• Collaborate with ARCO's Executive Director, Human Resources Director, management team, staff, participants, families, and community partners.
• Support ARCO's overall mission and participate in agency-wide initiatives and activities.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAD

As the Day Services Director, you will provideleadership and oversight for ARCO's Supported/Customized Employment andCommunity Ventures programs, along with the transportation services thatsupport these programs.

Help individuals discover their strengths, interests, andemployment goals while building relationships with local businesses andcreating meaningful opportunities for individuals to succeed in the workplace.

Community Ventures

Connect individuals with community members, organizations,businesses, and activities that align with their interests and goals - creatingopportunities for friendship, volunteering, learning, participation, andcontribution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and develop person-centered,community-based Day Services programs.
