Chrysalis is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the day program to work with individuals in workplace training settings, ensuring safety, respect, mentorship, and fun. You’ll assist with activities and be paid to participate in outings and community events.

Responsibilities include supporting individuals in both workplace and community settings, documenting progress, and maintaining a positive approach. The role offers $15/hour with full-time benefits in Utah.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work between 7am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, on major holidays off.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Must be willing to drive a company vehicle for transport.
• Must be an approved company driver with a Utah license and clean driving record.

• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Must be willingto drive a company vehicle to transport individuals.
• Must be an approved company driver in order to drive a company vehicle:
  • Must be at least 21 years or older with:
    • If 21 years old: No moving violations and or accidents.
    • If 22 years old or older: Must have no more than 2 moving violations or accidents in a 3-year period.
    • A valid drivers license in the state of Utah or be able to provide a current driving record
• Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
• Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames
• Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations
• Have a positive attitude
