Job summary

Aptiv Incorporated in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a Part-Time Day Service Associate to support individuals with disabilities in our adult day services program. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and flexible scheduling, with 10–29 hours per week and daytime shifts Monday through Friday, plus occasional Saturday work.

Responsibilities include leading group activities, supporting 1:1 participant goals, and assisting with breaks, personal care, and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Access to reliable non-public transportation with required insurance coverage.
• Flexibility in scheduling.
• Ability to operate computer equipment; knowledge of various software packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead groups through discussion and projects such as art, exercise and wellness, cooking, science, music, community inclusion, and more.
• 1:1 staff: work with 1 or 2 participants to build specific skills or routines.
• Support staff: provide breaks, aid in personal care and/or range of motion, cleaning, and more.

No two days will ever look the same in this position, if you are looking for a fun position where you can make a difference, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATIONCompetitive hourly rate of $16.60/hrPart-Time - 10-29 hours a weekFlexible Scheduling; this position offers shifts that are 2 - 9 hours longMonday through Friday daytime hours with shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and One Saturday/month 8a-4pRESPONSIBILITIESNo two days will ever be the same in day services.
