New Horizons in Autism, Inc. (NHIA) is seeking a Day Program Supervisor to lead our team and support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in our New Jersey locations.

This full-time, exempt role reports to the Day Services Coordinator and focuses on program operations, staff supervision, scheduling, documentation, and regulatory compliance. The supervisor will work with DSPs and agency leadership to create a safe, engaging environment where individuals can learn, grow,

Competenze

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in a related field welcomed.
• Minimum of two years supporting individuals with autism or IDD.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Residential program and Therap experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, professional, and flexible with teamwork and judgment.

• Support individualized service plans, skill development, and personal growth.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with NHIA policies, DDD regulations, licensing requirements, and Medicaid standards.
• Oversee staffing schedules, meetings, training, and program operations.
• Assist with direct care and program activities when needed.
• Follow all emergency, incident-reporting, and health and safety procedures.
