Job summary

Spread Your Wings Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks a full-time 1:1 Support Staff for the Adult Day Program. Hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, with a pay rate of $22.00/hour. The role focuses on compassionate, person-centered support for individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting.

The position emphasizes daily living assistance, safety, and meaningful community participation. Training is provided, with benefits including medical options and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Patient, dependable, and compassionate
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in caregiving or behavioral support preferred
• Comfortable working independently in the community
• Able to pass background check & Live Scan

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a participant throughout the day

• Support participation in community outings (parks, stores, libraries)
