Job summary

Spread Your Wings LLC is hiring dedicated staff to support adults with developmental disabilities in a community-based day program serving Ukiah, California. This full-time role offers a set schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with hands-on client care and transport to program activities.

You will implement individualized service plans, assist with daily living skills, promote independence, and communicate with supervisors and families.

Qualifications

• Experience with developmental disabilities & behavioral support needs
• Able to problem solve and adapt to client needs
• Willing to work independently in the community

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from program activities
• Support clients in parks, libraries, stores, and public venues
• Implement individualized service plans focused on social skills, communication, community integration, and safety awareness
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene and mobility support when necessary
• Promote independence and client participation in meaningful activities
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and family members
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each individual at all times
• Assist with redirecting and managing behaviors

Spread Your Wings is a Community-Based Adult Behavioral Day Program serving individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the Ukiah County areas.

Our staff work out in the community, providing person-centered support and helping individuals build skills, increase independence, and meaningfully engage in everyday life.

What you’ll do
