Beacon Specialized Living in Manassas, VA is seeking a Day Program Professional to support adults with developmental and mental health needs in a structured daytime setting. You’ll lead engaging activities, promote independence, and help participants build daily living skills in the community.

This role includes implementing individual service plans, ensuring safety and dignity during transport and outings, and collaborating with a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team- oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming.
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and monitor progress toward goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity during program hours, transportation, and community outings.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided).
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely.
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports.

What You'll Do as a Day Program Professional

As a Day Program Professional, you will support individuals in a structured daytime setting, leading engaging activities, building skills, and promoting independence and community inclusion.

Daily Responsibilities
