Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living seeks a Day Program Professional to create engaging, person-centered experiences that promote independence and community integration for individuals served. Join a national behavioral health provider delivering residential-based supports across multiple locations.

You will implement daily activity schedules, support individuals with daily living tasks, ensure health and safety, and collaborate with the Care Team Manager to align with each person’s service plan and goals.

Qualifications

• Must comply with company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Provide personal care and support as needed.
• Travel to other program locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Implement daily activity schedules including community outings, events, and in-house programming.
• Promote community awareness and inclusion through responsible, courteous behavior.
• Ensure health and safety of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community activities.
• Provide personal care and support as needed.
• Assist individuals with personal finances, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Complete and submit incident reports per policy.
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies, using restrictive procedures only as a last resort.
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning and carry out goals from individual service plans.
• Attend staff meetings and complete required annual training.
• Travel to other program locations as needed.
