Job summary

Spread Your Wings, LLC is seeking dedicated staff to support adults with developmental disabilities in community settings across Ukiah County. This full-time position offers a set schedule and opportunities to make a difference in daily living skills and social integration.

You will transport clients, assist with daily living tasks, and implement individualized plans focusing on safety, communication, and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in community settings.
• Patient, dependable, and respectful in all interactions.
• Willingness to follow individualized service plans and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from program activities.
• Assist clients in community settings such as parks, libraries, stores.
• Implement individualized service plans focused on social skills, independence and safety.
• Support daily living skills, including hygiene and mobility when needed.
• Promote independence and client participation in meaningful activities.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and families; ensure safety at all times.
• Assist with behavior support as needed.

Spread Your Wings is a Community-Based Adult Behavioral Day Program serving individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the Ukiah County areas.
Our staff work out in the community, providing person-centered support and helping individuals build skills, increase independence, and meaningfully engage in everyday life.

What you'll do:

• Promote independence and encourage client participation in meaningful activities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of each individual at all times
• Assist with redirecting and managing behaviors
