Job summary

Creative Works in Lewiston, ME is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional for our Community Services Day Program. Monday–Friday 8am–4pm, 40 hours; pay rate $19/hour. We provide training to adults with disabilities in home, work and community settings.

Responsibilities include advocacy, assisting with personal care, transporting participants, IPP development, and documentation. Maintain a clean, safe environment and communicate with the team to support participant progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have or be willing to obtain trainings within Agency timelines (DSP, CPR/FA, CRMA, Welle).
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for assigned individuals.
• Attend to individuals’ personal care needs and hygiene.
• Transport individuals using a vehicle.
• Transfer between assignments as needed.
