Job summary

The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence is seeking a dedicated Day Hab staff member to assist in coordinating the total day program for people we support, stressing independence and inclusion.

The role emphasizes person-centered planning and supervision to promote growth toward greater independence. Responsibilities include documenting services, coordinating transportation, and providing guidance to ensure safe, engaging activities within Waiver requirements.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills required.
• Relevant certifications: Valid NYS driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day program activities to promote independence and inclusion.
• Complete documentation in a timely manner per agency guidelines.
• Support people we serve with transportation and community activities.
• Assist with ADL and interpersonal skill training as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and adherence to policies.
• Participate in staff meetings and program planning.
