Job summary

Berkshire County Arc is hiring for a Direct Care position in a Day Habilitation program. This full-time, day-shift role offers a base pay of $21.00 per hour and a 35-hour work week from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include supporting individuals in rehabilitation goals, training, and supervision during meals and bus times. Requires a high school diploma; driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; one year of experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage individuals in meeting their rehabilitation goals through the implementation of support strategies in Day Habilitation service plans
• Participate in the training of individuals and contribute to the development of new techniques and materials
• Support and encourage individuals in meeting their habilitation goals
• Supervise and interact with individuals lunch periods, breaks and bus times.
