Job summary

Center for Disability Services is hiring Day Program Counselors to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through engaging activities onsite and in the community.

We offer paid on-the-job training, no overnight shifts, and both part-time and full-time opportunities. Compensation ranges from $18.15 to $19.25 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• NYS Driver's License in good standing may be required at some sites.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage independence in daily life.
• Collaborate with your team to plan, create and assist with activities to meet the needs and interests of the people you support.
• Provide any necessary direct personal care to the people we support.
