Job summary

Center for Disability Services in New York is seeking Day Program Counselors to join our Day Services Team. This role supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through engaging activities both onsite and in the community, with paid on-the-job training and no prior experience required.

We offer flexible schedules with no overnights, paid holidays, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• NYS Driver's License in good standing (some sites require).
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support independence in all aspects of daily life.
• Collaborate with your team to plan, create and assist with activities and opportunities to meet the needs and interests of the people you support.
• Provide any necessary direct personal care to the people we support.

Compensation Range

$18.15 - $19.25
