Job Position Description

This position maintains clean and healthy environments for our customers' buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include:

• Removing debris, maintaining common spaces, restocking bathrooms, responding to cleaning emergencies
• Performing cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, moving furniture/equipment
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
• Using proper PPE as required
• Cleaning all common areas including kitchens, cafeterias, lobbies, and break rooms
• Placing safety hazard signs when necessary
• Monitoring, servicing, and restocking bathrooms
• Responding immediately to spills or cleaning crises
• Removing litter and debris from common areas

Experience in custodial roles is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for strong, willing workers. Flexibility, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dependability, and good communication skills are essential.

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Must lift/carry 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate cleaning products and their uses
