Job summary

LOT Commercial Property Services in Oceanside, CA, is hiring a Full-Time Day Porter to maintain clean, welcoming properties across multiple sites. As a Day Porter, you’ll keep spaces tidy, manage trash, sweep and mop floors, and assist with exterior maintenance.

You’ll work a 30-hour weekly schedule, with pay at $17.75 per hour and weekly payroll. A valid California driver’s license and insurance are required.

Qualifications

• California driver's license with clean driving record
• Vehicle insurance
• Experience in janitorial/custodial/porter work preferred
• Excellent communication in English or Spanish is a plus

Location: Commercial Property Site

Schedule: Monday 7 am - 9:30 am 1865, 1975 & 1890 Ord Way, Oceanside | Tuesday 7 am - 12 pm 1291 & 1322 Rocky Point, Oceanside |Wednesday 7 am -11 am 2905 Oceanside Blvd. & 11 am - 2:30 pm 1865 Ord Way, Oceanside | Friday 7 am - 12 pm 1322 & 1291 Rocky Point Dr, Oceanside CA (Thursday OFF) (30 weekly hours)

Pay: $17.75 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement between properties | Weekly Payroll

• MUST have a California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record, along with vehicle insurance

What You’ll Do

As a Day Porter, you’ll be the eyes and ears of the property, making sure everything looks its best:

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
• Always use required safety equipment (we’ve got you covered!)

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

You Might Be a Great Fit If You Are

• A strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal
• Familiar with using a mobile device (such as a cell phone or tablet) regularly for timekeeping and document review
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and enjoys being on your feet outdoors
• Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred—but not required!)

Physical Requirements

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking stairs and large properties regularly
