CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and order in common areas of office buildings, apartments, or other commercial properties. Responsibilities include lobby spot cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal, and basic upkeep to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial janitorial work or building service cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Vacuum lobby and elevator cabs; wipe doors, walls and tops.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles; restrooms cleaned daily.
• Sweep stairwells and entrances; keep floors clear of debris.
• Report lights out and maintenance issues to Management.
• Assist building Engineer as needed; support daily operations.

Guided by a Service Heart we are a company Built to Serve with a passion to exceed our customer’s expectations.Job Details:A Day porter is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Spot clean the lobby glass doorsPolish chrome on lobby doorsVacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a dayInspect the building exterior and pick up any trashClean ashtrays and sand urns on every floorEmpty and clean exterior trash receptaclesCheck restrooms twice dailyVacuum lobby once a day or as neededSweep stairwells and landings as neededRemove all debris from landscaped areas as neededSweep building entrancesClean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall coveringReport any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management OfficeReport any solicitors to the Management OfficeWhere applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day.
