Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring a Day Porter to maintain common areas in office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial facilities in clean and orderly condition.

The role includes spot cleaning lobby glass doors, polishing chrome, vacuuming elevator cabs, restrooms checks, trash management, and reporting issues to Management. DailyPay is available, supporting prompt payment for daily work.

Qualifications

• Maintain common areas in offices/apartments/other facilities in clean and orderly condition.
• Spot clean lobby glass doors and polish chrome on doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs, wipe cab doors/walls/top surfaces twice daily.
• Inspect exterior areas, empty trash, restrooms checks and general tidiness.

Guided by a Service Heart we are a company Built to Serve with a passion to exceed our customer’s expectations.**Job Details:**A Day porter is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Spot clean the lobby glass doors* Polish chrome on lobby doors* Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day* Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash* Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor* Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles* Check restrooms twice daily* Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed* Sweep stairwells and landings as needed* Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed* Sweep building entrances* Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering* Report any lights out (exit, directory boards, etc.) to the Management Office* Report any solicitors to the Management Office* Where applicable, police lobby to keep floors and planters free of paper, debris, etc. Policing should be scheduled at high-traffic times each day.
