Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a Day Porter to maintain the common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial properties in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include cleaning, inspecting exteriors, and ensuring restroom cleanliness.

Compensation is provided with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and consistent attendance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls and tops twice a day.
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up trash.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby daily or as needed.
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed.
• Remove debris from landscaped areas as needed.
• Sweep building entrances and remove smudges on walls/doors.
• Report lights out to Management Office and solicitors as applicable.
• Policing lobby during high-traffic times and manage debris.
• Empty all trash receptacles and vacuum carpeted floors.
• Dust mop lobby floors twice daily.
• Polish elevator cab railings, doors and main lobby call buttons.
• Assist building Engineer daily per Management discretion.
