Job summary

Boise Centre is seeking a Day Porter to maintain cleanliness across our event spaces, lobbies, restrooms and common areas in a fast-paced venue. This role supports the Operations Team during setup and transitions, ensuring guest spaces remain welcoming and pristine.

Ideal candidates bring custodial or cleaning experience, knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment, and a strong eye for detail. Flexible hours and team-oriented culture are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• Custodial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning practices, safety procedures and equipment use.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of event spaces, lobbies, restrooms, breakrooms, and service areas throughout the day.
• Perform routine custodial tasks, including dusting, spot cleaning, trash removal, and replenishing supplies.
• Continuously clean glass windows, walls, and high-touch areas to ensure a polished appearance.
• Support the Operations Team in setting up and transitioning event spaces as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost and found items promptly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting guests and ensuring all spaces are welcoming and well-maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in resolving operational issues.
