Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is hiring a Lead Day Porter to oversee cleaning and sanitation for assigned areas and to provide some direction to custodial staff. Compensation starts at $18.25 per hour with a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred.
• Driver's license may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Follow daily schedule tasks.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed.
• Assist supervisor in scheduling and training staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
• Schedule cleanup and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supplies inventory.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety rules.
• Suggest corrective actions for areas needing improvement.
