LOT Commercial Property Services in Carlsbad, CA is hiring a Day Porter to keep properties clean and welcoming. You will be on your feet outdoors, perform cleaning tasks, and help maintain safety and order.

You’ll work with a friendly team, communicate in English or Spanish, and use a mobile device for timekeeping and record review. The position emphasizes reliability, punctuality, and independent, detail-oriented work.

Responsibilities

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Tuesday & Thursday Off)

Pay: $18.25 per hour, Paid Weekly

What You’ll Do

• Keep the property clean and presentable throughout the day
• Pick up trash and empty receptacles
• Sweep, mop, dust, and wipe down surfaces
• Clean restrooms and high-traffic areas
• Clean exterior doors, windows, and windowsills
• Remove debris like stickers, gum, spills, and graffiti
• Walk the property regularly to inspect cleanliness
• Report maintenance or repair needs to your supervisor
• Always use required safety equipment (we’ve got you covered!)

Requirements

You Might Be a Great Fit If You Are

• A strong communicator in English or Spanish – both written and verbal
• Familiar with using a mobile device (such as cell phone or tablet) regularly for timekeeping and document review
• Enjoys providing friendly customer service
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently
• Physically active and enjoy being on your feet outdoors
• Experienced in janitorial, custodial, or porter work (preferred—but not required!)

Physical Requirements

• On your feet throughout the shift
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Walking stairs and large properties regularly
