JOB DESCRIPTION

Day porters are responsible for making sure a company facility looks neat and presentable to the public, performing routine cleaning tasks such as trash removal, dust removal, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and others, depending on the assigned position.

DUTIES

• Pick up trash and clean trash barrels.
• Wash walls and partitions.
• Clean and disinfect toilet and toilet seats, dispensers, sinks.
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
• Ensure compliance with the company's policies and operational guidelines.
• Follow all proper safety procedures.
• Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum one year of cleaning experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the key duties of the position
