Advanced, Inc is seeking a motivated Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and organization across facilities in a healthcare-adjacent setting. The role focuses on sweeping, mopping, disinfection of high-touch surfaces, and waste disposal to ensure a sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The position requires prior janitorial experience, knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team while adhering to infection

Responsibilities

• Refill dispensers for soap, towels, toilet paper; monitor supplies.
• Set up and clean meeting rooms and event spaces as required.
• Collaborate with maintenance to address cleanliness and safety issues.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

The Day Porter will ensure that our facility remains a welcoming and sanitary space for [patients, visitors, and staff].ResponsibilitiesPerform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of all common areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.Empty and properly dispose of trash and [medical] waste according to established guidelines, which can include outside and around the building.Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or Advanced, Inc team.QualificationsPrevious janitorial or custodial experience.
