Advanced is seeking a motivated Day Porter to join our facility in Fresno, CA. The Day Porter will ensure the building remains clean, tidy, and welcoming for visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and surfaces, restrooms upkeep, trash disposal, restock supplies, coordinate with maintenance, and follow safety protocols. Candidates should have janitorial experience, attention to detail, good teamwork, and physical stamina; shifts are day hours.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Day Porter to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility. The Day Porter will ensure that our facility remains a welcoming and sanitary space for visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of all common areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and waste according to established guidelines, which can include outside and around the building.
• Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or Advanced team.

Qualifications: Qualifications

• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work during both day and evening shifts as required.
