Job summary

Progressive Cleaning is seeking a Day Porter for the Melbourne, FL location to assist with daily facility duties during normal business hours. You will keep entryways and public areas clean, handle trash removal, restocking, and routine disinfecting, while communicating clearly with clients and team leaders.

Attention to detail and reliability are essential as you will be onsite interacting with clients, tenants, and guests in a busy commercial setting.

• Excellent verbal and non‑verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills; primary point of contact for clients.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time and tasks with limited supervision.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lobby and entryways, keeping them clean, tidy, and presentable during shift.
• Clean and maintain common areas such as kitchens, break rooms, cafeterias, and patios.
• Regularly clean and disinfect touch points and high‑touch surfaces.
• Monitor and service restrooms, restocking supplies as needed.
• Respond to service requests, communicate with client and supervisor, and manage inventories.
