Job summary

Saber Building Services, a Michigan-based commercial cleaning company, is seeking a Day Porter / Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a behavioral health center near the North Telegraph Road corridor in Pontiac.

The role is hands-on and requires dependable, professional staff who can work independently, handle changing priorities, and stand, walk, bend, lift as needed throughout the day. Pay is $16–$17 per hour with competitive benefits and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout assigned areas
• Respond promptly to spills and other immediate cleaning needs
• Monitor high-traffic areas and communicate facility concerns to management

Saber Building Services is excited to welcome an experienced Day Porter / Custodian to our team at a behavioral health center near the North Telegraph Road corridor in Pontiac. This is a visible, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the day.

Because the facility remains active during the shift, the Day Porter / Custodian will respond to cleaning needs as they arise while completing routine custodial work throughout assigned areas. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and comfortable working around staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services.
