Saber Building Services Inc. in Detroit is seeking a dependable Day Porter to support a prominent museum and cultural facility near the Woodward Avenue corridor in Midtown Detroit. The role is high-profile, ensuring the building remains clean, welcoming, and ready for staff, guests, and daily public use.

Wednesday - Saturday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. You will be professional, attentive, approachable, and ready to respond quickly to cleaning needs as they arise in a busy public environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances and other spaces.
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning.
• Sweep, mop, and respond promptly to spills or immediate cleaning needs.
• Monitor high-traffic public areas and address cleaning needs during the shift.
• Communicate facility, supply, or service concerns to management.

Because this facility is active throughout the day, the Day Porter is an integral part of the overall operation. We are looking for someone who is professional, attentive, approachable, and ready to respond quickly to cleaning needs as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Sweep, mop, and respond promptly to spills or immediate cleaning needs
• Monitor high-traffic public areas and address cleaning needs throughout the shift
• Communicate facility, supply, or service concerns to management
