Job summary

Saber Building Services Inc. in New Boston, MI is seeking a dependable Day Porter to support a busy automotive manufacturing facility near the Bell Road corridor. The role is high-visibility, helping keep the facility clean, safe, and ready for employees and visitors.

You will work Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with emphasis on consistency, professional conduct, and quick response to cleaning needs. Comfortable environment and safety shoes required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Sweep, mop, and respond promptly to spills or immediate cleaning needs
• Monitor high-traffic areas and address cleaning needs throughout the shift
• Communicate facility, supply, or safety concerns to management

This is a high-profile, highly visible position that plays an important role in keeping the facility clean, safe, and ready for employees, visitors, and daily operations.

Because the Day Porter works throughout the building while operations are active, we are looking for someone who is attentive, professional, and comfortable responding to cleaning needs as they arise. Consistent attendance and a strong sense of responsibility are especially important in this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning

Requirements
